The Club"
This collection takes its inspiration from ‘The 27 Club’ – famous musicians who all died coincidently aged 27. Members of this macabre group include Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, to name but a few, and are all included here.

The collection of portraits widens its doors to include other celebrities who died too soon and often in tragic circumstances - drugs and alcohol usually being a factor. Death for them has ensured that they remain in our memories; some are only possibly remembered because of how it all ended – Peg Entwistle, a 1930s actress and barely famous whilst alive, entered tinseltown folklore after jumping to her death from the ‘H’ of the Hollywood sign.

A tragic death seemed almost inevitable for celebrities like Whitney Houston, Judy Garland and Anna Nicole Smith. Their chaotic lives played out to the cameras and press but for them death is merely a chapter in their continuing biography and they live on in our minds. Many lived to the adage of burning out rather than fading away meaning we never see them grow old, staying forever young, vibrant and beautiful.
